This is the Freedom Trails initiative blog that will allow you to read and discuss entries made by local students about their experience learning about local African American history and our area’s participation in the Underground Railroad.
This educational initiative is made possible by a grant from the African American Community Fund, a grant from the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County (Indiana). This project is also done in cooperation with the Center for History of South Bend, Indiana.
